Hello world!

As if there aren’t enough blogs out there, here I go adding my two cents. A mini-history of how I got here. Once I worked in an office and had titles such as HR and Safety. I’ve also worked in a rolling “office” being a driver/guide which was an extremely fun gig. Since March of 2007, I now describe myself as a stay-at-home web worker for a seasonal job board called Cool Works. It’s been an interesting transition moving from the land of suits and office etiquette to working in my jammies and hanging out with my cats. So far so good and I don’t have any regrets.

The other part of my “work” life involves photography. In May I finished classes via the University of Washington Extension Certificate Program in Photography. Boy is that a lot to say. Today my photographs, which had been on display at the UW Medical Center came down after a month. I don’t believe that there is a prouder moment in a photographer or artist’s life compared to sharing their art (i.e. view of the world) in a public place. I hope to do more of it in the future.
